The Park

I am pretty sure in these pics that going to the park looks like more fun for me than for Brayden...he likes it, but he is so intrigued by the other kids running around that you can never capture a smile!

Its been awhile since I've posted so here are a few random pictures! Enjoy!!

First beach trip!!

While in San Diego, B had his first trip to the beach! He was not sure what he thought of the sand right away, but like a typical boy as soon as he got in the wet sand, he was in heaven! We were also not sure what he would think of the water since it is never real warm and the waves are new, but he loved it. It was hard to get him to smile in any of the pictures because he was too busy staring at the sand, the waves or the surfers!

After he had his fun at the beach it was time to go. We didn't have a big towel or anywhere to change the baby and keep him from the sand, so Rob had an idea to hold him, take off his suit and diaper, let him air dry and then put him on the towel to put on the new diaper. Unfortunately for him (but fortunately for me) his plan backfired....as soon as he could the baby pooped right on Daddy's hand/clothes!! I was laughing so hard, I had to get a picture!!

San Diego

We also hit up SD over the summer. We visited and introduced B to our old neighbors, friends and co-workers. It also was a time for many "firsts" for B....

We stayed with friends and took the boys on a walk along Mission Bay as well as B's 1st time in a "pool"...

We also spent some time with cousin Christy... what a view from her deck!

Parents Trip

Grandma, Papou and Uncle Chad came to visit. We were so excited to have them come and see how big B has gotten since they saw him last.

When they first got there Brayden had to show Papou how enthralled he gets with baseball! He just stares at the TV anytime its on and if you say, "Its time for Dodger baseball" (courtesy of Uncle Mike) he gets a huge smile and giggles!





Next, we all piled in the Yukon and headed to the river for a few days. Isn't he adorable!!! His shirt doesn't lie! I can't wait until he's older and asks why we put such an awesome hat on him!!

River Trip

We started off Rob's 6-week summer vacation with a trip to the river. It was Brayden's second trip to the river, but his first time on the boat!

To start the trip we had a few tire issues...first on the way to the river Rich and Cassy had to change a tire on both the Tahoe and the trailer they were towing. Next, while getting ready to put the boat in the water, the tire to that trailer had to be changed! Rob changing it in 110+ degree heat!

Brayden was excited for his first boat ride and dip in the river...first he had to get ready....watch out Maverick!!! Those glasses and the mohawk are the best!!

My first boat ride and they let me drive!!! Look at my face, I thought they were nuts too!

He absolutely loved the boat! He would kick, coo and sleep...we couldn't have asked for anything better!

Needless to say everyone, especially Brayden, had a great time!!

Meeting the Burgesons

Brayden met Ben, Monica, his friend Christian and the "black" Diego for the first time, when they came to visit in Big Bear....



Christian and Brayden loved each other!! It is amazing how big Christian is (he is a year older than Brayden)!
